25-year-old Calvin Crew has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the 2022 murder of 38-year-old Uber driver and mother of four, Christina Spicuzza. The sentencing took place on May 5, 2025, at the Allegheny County Courthouse in Pittsburgh.
Christina Spicuzza begging for her life on dashcam
On the night of February 10, 2022, Calvin Crew ordered an Uber using his girlfriend’s phone. Christina Spicuzza, working to support her family, picked him up. Her dashcam footage revealed the horrifying moments that followed, Crew, wearing a balaclava, pulled a gun on Spicuzza, demanding she continue driving. Despite her desperate pleas for her life and mentions of her four children, Crew remained unmoved as mentioned her family and four kids.

Crew, seated behind Spicuzza, was seen placing a gun to the back of her head shortly after entering the vehicle.
Throughout the ride, Spicuzza begged Crew to remove the gun from her head, saying, “Please take that off of me.”
The video ends when the heartless devil noticed the dashcam and turning it off. Two days later, Spicuzza’s body was discovered in a wooded area in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, with a single gunshot wound to the head
In February 2025, Calvin Crew was found guilty of first-degree murder, robbery, kidnapping, evidence tampering, and firearm offenses. Although he initially faced the death penalty, Christina Spicuzza’s family requested a life sentence instead, citing her religious beliefs. Crew declined to attend his sentencing, leaving his attorney to speak on his behalf. The court also imposed an additional 13 to 26 years for related charge

I am not sure why he escaped the death penalty, he is a devil and should not be fed on the tax payer’s dime. An evil soul who committed a terrible crime and left 4 children motherless after pleading and begging.
During the sentencing, Spicuzza’s family delivered emotional statements. Her mother, Cindy Spicuzza, expressed, “You should have the death penalty, but we showed mercy.” Her fiancé, Brandon Marto, criticized Crew for not attending the sentencing, calling him “a coward who couldn’t be here today to face this.
Rest in peace Christina and I hope Calvin Crew gets everything bad.
