Season 2 of Love is Blind UK just dropped, and I’ve been itching to watch it as soon as possible.
There’s something to be said about a corporate entity forcing people (well, not forcing, these are consenting adults) to enter relationships with people without seeing them until they’re engaged, while broadcasting their experiences for the world to enjoy.
With that being said, let’s get into it:
The couple I am rooting for the most is Sarover and Kal.
I think they make a great pairing, however I do worry that they may have real ethnic differences. Their friends and Family might have some strong views about the other person. And the fact that she’sworried that Kal’s usual type is valid But Kal hasn’t given me any real reason to not root for hima and this paring. One thing that makes me raise an eyebrow is his investment in Katisha’s and Javin’s relationship.
All in all, I think their relationship would work out if they stand fast for each other without bowing to cultural pressures.
Jed and Bardha are next, and I’m cautiously optimistic. There’s potential there, but I’m waiting to see how they handle any bumps along the way. Honestly, I can’t see any reason why they wouldn’t make it, but if there’s anything I’ve learned in my long career of watching reality TV, I should be prepared for a twist.
I was really rooting for Aanu and Patrick, despite his many, many, many references to his spleen. (Seriously, what does that even mean)? But I kind of understood why Patrick took a step back from their connection.
Kieran and Meghan are quite cute, and they had a lot of chemistry in the pods, and I think they have a lot of chemistry in person as well. however, I think that the way he handled the situation with Sophie wasn’t the best.
Next up is Ashleigh and Billy. I don’t really have a lot of thoughts about this relationship, but I think they are really cute.
For Katisha and Javin, I’m not going to lie I was quite blindsided by it all. I genuinely thought she was going to choose Demola. Alas! I was wrong. In the sneak peek of the new episode, I think she might regret that decision. But don’t quote me on that. We will find out on the 20th of August.
At the moment, Katisha and Javin are my pick for worst couple, only because I think Demola would have been a better choice and I stand by that.
