Let’s be honest, Beyoncé’s Tour has been one for the books. Between the setlist, the visuals, and those jaw-dropping looks, she’s been giving iconic. But behind the scenes? something crazy just happened.

According to a police report obtained by People, Bey’s longtime choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue called 911 on Tuesday, July 8, after two suitcases were snatched from their Jeep Wagoneer, which was parked at Krog Street Market in Atlanta.
On the 911 call (shoutout to TMZ for getting their hands on it), one of them told dispatch that there was “really, really important information” inside the bags — and while they didn’t name-drop, they made it crystal clear this was about a very high-profile celebrity. Like, duh.

Inside those suitcase there were laptops, clothes, designer shades. A pair of AirPods Max. And most importantly flash drives containing unreleased, watermarked music, set lists, show footage plans, and more. We’re talking past and future show content. If you know how tight-lipped Bey is about literally everything, then you know this is huge.
Beyoncé’s tour: A suspect on the loose
According to the Atlanta Police Department, they’ve issued an arrest warrant for a suspect (who hasn’t been publicly named yet). And as of this writing, there have been no leaks. None of the stolen material has made its way online. Let’s all collectively hold our breaths and keep watch.
Beyoncé also just wrapped up a four-show run at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium (July 10, 11, 13 & 14), and she’s headed to Vegas to close out the tour with back-to-back shows at Allegiant Stadium on July 25 and 26.
So, what do we do until then?
We hope and pray that none of that unreleased music ends up on the timeline. We keep side-eying that Sphere drama. And we accept that even Queen Bey isn’t immune to a little tour turmoil.
As always, the comments are open.
