24 year old Blue Stevens was stabbed outside the hotel in front of his screaming girlfriend, sadly he passed at the scene. It is quite shocking that this could happen in Knightsbridge, one of the wealthiest places in the UK. The kind of place where a night in a hotel can cost more than most people’s rent.

Why was Blue Stevens stabbed?
Earlier in July, Blue Stevens a 24-year-old man was stabbed to death in front of his screaming girlfriend just outside the Park Tower hotel on Seville Street, not far from Harrods and Hyde Park. Emergency services got to the scene around 9:30pm, but it was already too late. He was pronounced dead right there on the pavement.

The Metropolitan Police say a murder investigation is underway. One of the working theories is a robbery possibly gone wrong. But as of this writing, they’re keeping all options open.
The Park Tower has confirmed that neither their guests nor staff were involved in the incident. Still, it’s unnerving. You don’t expect violent crime right next to where people are eating £1,450 steaks. But this just reminds us that money doesn’t mean safety.
A plea to the public
Superintendent Owen Renowden, who oversees policing in Kensington and Chelsea, gave a statement this morning:
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s loved ones following the shocking events that took place last night.
Police are urging anyone who saw anything or knows anything, to come forward. Call 101 and reference CAD 8521/09JUL. Or, if talking to police isn’t your thing, you can always call Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111 or head to crimestoppers-uk.org.
It’s a disturbing story, not just because of the violence, but because of where it happened.
More updates as they come.
