On Thursday, a drama school teacher was arrested and charged after authorities found her in a car with a teenage boy, who was half naked.
According to reports, 33-year-old Pamela Stigger was charged with sexual battery and lewd behavior with a minor after she was caught with a 15-year-old former student.
Officials say Stigger was parked on a roadway in Tamarac at two o’clock in the morning, near the intersection of the N.W. 70th Avenue and N.W. 58th street, blocking traffic.
When officials approached the vehicle, they discovered the teen boy, was naked from the waist down. Stigger was arrested and taken in for questioning.
Gina Carter a spokesman for the sheriff said:
“When she was questioned about what they were doing and if they had, in fact, engaged in sexual acts, she denied.
Despite the fact that the young man was undressed.
At first Stigger claimed the young boy tried to seduce her, however, her story changed shortly after. She did say she was in the process of mentoring this past student of hers, even though it was 2am, and they were in the back seat of a car.”
On the other hands, the victim told authorities that Stigger was driving him home Wednesday night when she stopped the car and began kissing him. The two then moved to the back of the seat of the car and took off their clothes, just before having sex.
Just after she got dressed, deputies arrived, responding to a call of a suspicious vehicle, blocking traffic with no one in the front seat.
Stigger was charged with two counts of sexual battery on a victim older than 12 and younger than 18, and one count of lewd contact.
On Friday, a judge set a $37,000 bound with GPS monitoring and no contact with the teen.
Broward schools released a statement saying Stigger has been reassigned and will no longer be allowed to work with the students.
