According to reports, Polston is facing two counts of criminal sexual assault and two counts of possession of child pornography. Authorities say she gave birth earlier this year, and things started to unravel when investigators noticed the baby’s birth certificate shared the same middle and last name as a teenage boy who once attended a school dance with her daughter. When questioned, Polston reportedly tried to spin a tale about the baby’s father being “a man in his twenties named Brian.” But that story didn’t hold up once DNA results came in. The tests confirmed the unthinkable: the father was indeed the teenage boy.
The alleged relationship reportedly began after that middle school dance in 2023 — which Polston had chaperoned herself. The boy later moved away, then returned to Illinois in 2024, just months before the child was born. The timeline practically screamed “investigate me,” and when police dug deeper, they allegedly found digital evidence linking her to the boy.
Now, Polston is being held without bail and faces up to 15 years in prison for each count if convicted. The boy, who’s still a minor, is reportedly in the care of relatives.
