Okay, this one is straight out of a true crime podcast. A decomposing body was found in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd, and it turns out the victim was a missing 15-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas.
According to the BBC, the Tesla was abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, towed to a lot, and then sat there for days until people started complaining about a foul smell. When cops finally popped the boot, they found Celeste’s remains. Horrific doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Celeste had been missing since April 2024. She was only 13 at the time. The medical examiner’s report describes her as 5’2”, with wavy black hair, wearing a tube top and black leggings. She also had a tattoo on her finger that said “Shhh.” Sources say her body wasn’t intact and she had been dead for quite some time.
Now here’s where the whole thing turns into a whirlwind: the car is registered to 20-year-old D4vd, who’s been blowing up online with millions of fans and was literally on tour when this went down. Rumors also say that Celeste’s name was mentioned in one of his unreleased songs. His Seattle show got canceled immediately after the discovery. Police say he’s cooperating, and so far no cause of death has been released.
It’s dark, it’s messy, it’s heartbreaking and I know Netflix is already thinking of how to turn this into a documentary.
