Beyoncé’s Record Breaking Cowboy Carter Tour Is Over. While Trump Is Calling for Her Prosecution.

So, Beyoncé just wrapped up her Cowboy Carter Tour, and in true Beyoncé fashion, she didn’t just finish a tour. She made history.

After just three months on the road, Cowboy Carter has officially become the highest-grossing country music tour of all time. It’s now the shortest tour ever to gross over $400 million.

She hit major cities like L.A., Chicago, and London, often performing multiple nights at each stop. And it ended with a glittery Vegas finale that brought Jay-Z on stage, introduced rising country star Shaboozey, and gave us a long-awaited Destiny’s Child reunion. Michelle and Kelly stepped out, and for a few minutes, it felt like the early 2000s again.

Destiny’s Child reunite for first performance in 7 years.

If there were doubts about Beyoncé star power, this tour has silenced them. She’s now not only the top-grossing Black artist of all time, but the top-grossing R&B artist too. And just to seal the legacy: she’s the first woman and the first American act ever to have two separate tours cross the $400 million mark. Iconic isn;t the word for it.

Donald Trump

But while the internet is still reeling from that final show, someone else is singing a different tune, Donald Trump.

In a now-viral Truth Social post, Trump claimed Beyoncé, along with Oprah and Kamala Harris, received illegal campaign payments during the 2024 election. He accused her of pocketing $11 million for publicly supporting Harris. “Totally illegal,” he wrote. “She must be prosecuted.”

There’s just one problem. It’s not true.

Campaign finance records show that Beyoncé’s company, Parkwood Entertainment, was paid around $165,000 for event production. Not for endorsing anyone. Fact-checkers and election officials have already shut down the claims, but that hasn’t stopped the headlines or the President from running their mouths.

On one hand, Beyoncé is riding a career high, breaking barriers in both country and R&B, and uniting generations of fans in the process. On the other, she’s somehow found herself at the center of another political firestorm, this time courtesy of a man currently fighting off more felony Counts than her Grammys.

Still, it’s hard to shake the feeling that she’s already moved on. Queen Bey never responds to noise. She just breaks records and keeps going. And if the Cowboy Carter era has shown us anything, it’s that you can’t box Beyoncé in.
