Something wild just went down at a Coldplay concert. And no, it’s not the music, it’s an affair. An actual corporate scandal, accidentally revealed on the kiss cam and the people at the centre are Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, and his Head of HR, Kristin Cabot. That’s right, HR!!!!!

In the viral video making its rounds, the kiss cam lands on them, and immediately, panic. Not cute, awkward giggly panic, but “caught red-handed” panic. The kind of panic that makes you freeze, blink rapidly, then bolt like the fire alarm just went off. Even Chris Martin caught the vibe, saying:
“Oh, look at these two… either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
Spoiler: it wasn’t shyness.
What Do we Know?
Andy Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron. They have two kids. Kristin Cabot, on the other hand, is Astronomer’s Chief People Officer, who joined in 2024. She’s worked in HR across multiple tech companies like Proofpoint and Neo4j, which makes all of this so much messier. Because when HR and the boss are secretly romantically involved, what kind of culture does that create for everyone else?
To make matters more chaotic, the Coldplay concert is rumoured to have been a work event. Imagine being a regular employee sipping your overpriced soda, only to see the CEO and Head of HR fumbling through a live scandal on the big screen.
Since the video dropped, Megan Kerrigan Byron has quietly removed the name ‘Byron’ from her social media. Astronomer, meanwhile, has disabled comments on their platforms. Kristin has stayed silent, no statement, no post, not even a vague quote about boundaries or professionalism.
Of course people have affairs. That’s not new. But when an affair happens between the people responsible for setting the tone of an entire company, it raises bigger questions than eyebrows.

😂. It was hilarious seeing this. Well everyone is entitled to their privacy 😂. Unfortunately, this was a ‘caught’ and that leaves two partners on both sides hurt by their betrayals
