Halle Bailey has officially been granted a restraining order against her ex and baby daddy, rapper and YouTuber DDG, following serious claims of domestic violence. This is coming after DJ Akademiks started a rumor that Halle Bailey was currently vacationing with musician Brent Faiyaz.
Musician Halle Bailey, known for her role in Disney’s live-action “The Little Mermaid,” filed the restraining order in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The order mandates that DDG stay at least 100 yards away from Bailey and their 17-month-old son, Halo, at all times, including at Halo’s school and Bailey’s vehicle.
She also reported counts of physical violence, one where DDG smashed her face against the steering wheel, chipped her tooth, threw her phone out of the car and told her to stay away. All of this happened while their baby Halo was in the vehicle, he witnessed everything. DDG literally told her to get out of his car, calling her a bitch.
She said she was in so much pain and started crying, before DDG stopped the violence,. Being a mother, she couldn’t leave Halo to drive alone with him in that state, so she had to stay in the car and follow DDG to his parents’ place to report him and get assurance that Halo would be fine, before she left.
We always assume that fame and money offer some kind of protection to women, but this proves again that abuse doesn’t care about status. The funny thing is, DDG has been trying to spin the narrative for weeks now, insinuating he is a victim and Halle was cheating. This has led to countless abuse and trolling towards Halle from his fans. All this while, DDG has been tweeting about not being able to see his son and how Halle is keeping Halo from him.
I am just here wondering, if he couldn’t see how toxic he was, I mean just look at the bull crap he posted on Twitter yesterday. The cheek.
In the police report Halle Bailey also recounted a scary incident where DDG allegedly entered her home without permission, sent her a photo of her empty bed with the text “now I know what u been on lol.” Indirectly accusing of her of sleeping with other men. He later damaged her Ring camera during a confrontation.
However, Halle revealed the final straw with DDG, was when he sent her social links and messages (DJ Akademiks posts), accusing her of vacationing with Brent Faiyaz in St Lucia with his son Halo, where as she was with her sister Chloe Bailey. Ironic that he is getting his sources from DJ Akademiks, especially after insinuating she has been cheating, so literally that man had no evidence.
