Burna Boy and Halle Bailey link up in Met Gala after party

It seems all is still well with Chloe Bailey and Burna Boy, as her sister Halle Bailey was seen getting very chummy with Burna during his Met Gala after party. So for those who don’t know, Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey sparked dating rumours last year December, when Chloe visited Lagos, Nigeria.

Chloe was practically everywhere with Burna for a few weeks, looking smitten and inseparable, before she returned to the US. Fans quickly began shipping them as a couple, and neither Chloe nor Burna denied the rumours. Then we had the whole Lamborghini saga with Lagos socialite Sophia Egbueje and Burna. Implying that Burna had cheated on Chloe Bailey after the whole publicity.

Earlier this year, a leaked voice note surfaced in which Sophia claimed Burna had pursued her in Lagos, promised her a Lamborghini, slept with her, and then ghosted her. She even mentioned that her friend, Ama Reginald, who allegedly encouraged her to give things a shot with Burna, still showed up at a party Burna hosted for Chloe Bailey, knowing full well he was still “in-debted” to her. Just your typical Lagos socialite drama, but still messy. Sophia still got her Lambo though.

But I am sure you can imagine how irritating it would have been for Chloe Bailey to hear all that after publicising her relationship with Burna (fake or not, my money is on everything being fake).

Back to Met Gala 2025, you can imagine why people were surprised to see Halle with Burna, after the whole Sophia saga, this just means that Chloe Bailey and Burna are still on talking terms, I mean we have lip readers, saying Halle was telling Burna about Chloe’s whereabouts.
