Woman Shot and Killed On Facebook Live By “On and Off” Ex-Boyfriend – blogged by @msJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On Thursday morning, tragedy struck in the Caddo Heights neighborhood in Shreveport, Louisiana after a woman was shot on Facebook live. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the incident, 27-year-old Rannita Williams was on Facebook Live as a man, who has since been identified as Williams’ “on and off” ex-boyfriend Johnathan Robinson, hurled obscenities in the background, demanding she apologize. However, the reason for the apology remains unclear. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Hey y’all, this is NuNu,” she said, “I didn’t have any business doing all that. My page been blocked.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Everybody wanna be famous. I’m gonna make you famous,” Robinson said in the background. “You think I’m worried about the police right now?” “You wanna be famous? I’m gonna make you famous,” he continued, as he paced back and forth. “Everybody wanna be famous, let’s be famous today.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The man then retrieved a gun from somewhere in the home and fired six shots, as Williams screamed for him to stop. Her phone fell on the floor and showed the man pointing the shotgun, as he fired off the shots. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Now, b*tch, game over,” he said. “Game over, b*ch.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to Miami Herald, more than two dozen police officers responded to the shooting, and exchanged gunfire with Robinson. Williams was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead, leaving behind three children. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Almost two hours later, Robinson was arrested and booked on charges of second-degree murder and convicted felon with a possession of a firearm. Following his arrest, he reportedly broke a pipe and flooded his jail cell before he was transported to another facility.
