‘Smile To Pay’! KFC In China Lunchs Payment By Smiling At A Camera

A KFC restaurant in Hangzhou, China is out here changing the game! This particular KFC restaurant let’s you pay for your bucket of chicken by just smiling at a camera.

According to Mashable, this new interesting method is called “Smile to Pay.” It apparently only takes about two seconds to scan your face, which is so crazy, and has “live-ness detection algorithm” to make sure it’s you in the flesh and not someone with a picture of you smiling on their phone.
You also must enter your phone number as a second form of authentication.
Would you be here for this new gadget in your local KFC?
