According to her recent Twitter post, South African presenter Nomzamo Mbatha will be co-hosting the BET International Awards alongside Eva Marcille on Saturday, 24 June at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Nomzamo broke the news on her Twitter account and wrote:
“Nomzamo broke the news on her Twitter account and wrote: “Still hasn’t sunk in yet…Proud to Announce that I will be CO-HOSTING The BET AWARDS INTERNATIONAL ceremony, Saturday alongside Eva Marcille.”
The presenter added that while the awards will be shown on Sunday, it will take place on Saturday. “The awards are pre-recorded and will be taking place on Saturday. All the best to everyone nominated in the Best International Act: Africa.”
More than 20 musicians will hit the stage to perform throughout the show. Some of the stars expected to perform at the prestigious event include: Bruno Mars, Mary J. Blige, A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Gucci Mane, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Migos, Post Malone, Future, Tamar Braxton, Trey Songz, DJ Khaled, Big Sean and more. Meanwhile, young South African rapper Nasty C who is nominated in the Best International Act: Africa is already living his American dream and will be at the awards on Saturday.
