Scandal is one show I really loved and sadly Shonda Rhimes is pulling the plug on ABC’s political drama, ‘scandal.’ According to Deadline, the show starring Kerry Washington will end after its 7th season.
Rhimes has vocalized her uncertainty about the future of the show because of the country’s current political climate.
She told Hollywood Reporter during an interview for it’s 100th episode that:
“I used to know how it ended as then Donald Trump was elected. We had a destination, and I don’t know if that’s our destination anymore.”
The network is expected to make a formal announcement next week.
Who will miss scandal? I definitely will…
Update: A quick series review now that Scandal has been done and dusted. The 6th season was barely watchable and the 7th was so full of shit, I couldn’t get past episode 2. I mean a lof people got on the train because of the Olitz (Olivia Pope and Fitz) and Olake (Olivia Pope & Jake Ballard) love triangle. I didn’t even see that happen properly. So no, happy it is done and dusted now.
