Blake Lively’s style always seems like the stuff of fairy tales, and as it turns out, that’s where she gets all her outfit inspo! Check out the pictures and comparisons below:
Between her sparkly icy blue body-hugging gown and hair pulled back into a pony tail, she totally embodied Frozen’s Elsa at the Cannes Film Festival, even writing on Instagram “Let It Glo.”
CRUELLA DE VIL
After attending the Michael Kors fall 2017 runway show, she thanked the designer for her 101 Dalmatians-esque black-and-white outfit and glamorous coat by signing off her Instagram caption, “Love always, Cruella.”
Blake’s yellow empire-waist gown worn with a denim jacket did double duty. She said her outfit helped her channel both Belle and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast.
Blake clarified that it’s not just the princesses she embodies — she can transform into villains too, doing her best Ursula (from The Little Mermaid) expression in an off-the-shoulder black gown and updo, the sea witch’s style signatures.
Blake famously dyed her hair for her role in Hick in 2011, and gushed about her strawberry locks at the time, saying, “I love it. I feel like Ariel.” (Debuting her new look in a seafoam Zuhair Murad mermaid-style gown didn’t hurt either!)
At the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, Blake transformed into Cinderella in every way possible. Her Vivienne Westwood Couture ball gown was a dead ringer with its voluminous skirt and embroidered bodice. She wore her hair in an updo adorned with Cinderella’s signature headband. And of course, she was decked out in jewels fit for a princess, captioning an Instagram shot of her accessories, “bibbidi bobbidi bling.”
Quite interesting. She sure do takes her time to get her fashion inspiration from out favorite Disney characters.
