A 17-year-old teenage girl of Arizona was referred to Chiropractor Douglas Gilbert, who was also known as Dr. Doug in the community, by her mother who has also the doctor’s services.
The girl began seeing Gilbert to help her with emotional issues. Sadly, the doctor plied the vulnerable girl with alcohol and supplied her with drugs.
60-year-old Gilbert and his 57-year-old wife, Kimberly Korba, offered to take the girl on a camping trip and to give the victim a “loving sexual experience” as part of her therapy.
The victim later told the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office that she got “scared” and refused to engage in a threesome with the doctor and his wife.
The girl said that after the couple allegedly gave her alcohol, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms. The three then engaged in “various sex acts.”
After conducting a year-long investigation and gathering enough evidence against the couple, Gilbert and Korba were arrested on a charge of sexual conduct with a minor. Bond was set at $125,000 each.
Authorities believe that Gilbert may have victimized other patients and are asking people to come forward with information.
