Mel B Withdraws Domestic Violence Restraining Order Against Estranged Husband, Stephen Belafonte

TMZ is reporting that English singer, Mel B  and her estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte have reached some mutual settlement in their divorce proceedings ahead of the trial set to begin on the 13th of November.

What’s new is that the former Spice Girls singer has agreed to lift the domestic violence restraining order filed against Belafonte in April on the condition that he sees their daughter frequently. The 42 year old TV star accused Belafonte of abusing her physically and emotionally when her career was on an upswing.

Belafonte and Brown tied  the knot in June 2007 after a whirlwind romance that lasted months before they tied the knot. In December 2016, reports hit the internet that the couple had split and were living apart. Mel B officially filed for a divorce in April claiming domestic violence. Belafonte’s representative however denied the claims, accusing Melanie of wiping out the Spice Girls money reaching up to £38.3 millions due to her extravagant lifestyle.
